Jay Rickstad was a key member of the Huskies' first Conference Championship team in 1980-81, but his most famous goal came in his junior year. His overtime goal on December 22nd, 1979, ended a wild 7-6 game in which Memorial scored twice in the final 1:06 of regulation to tie it. During Rickstad's three varsity seasons, the Huskies were 9-1 against Memorial. He also scored against Memorial as a sophomore and had three assists in one intracity game as a senior. Jay is still among the Top 20 in career assists at North.
