Tom Kuklinski is the winningest coach in Eau Claire North history. His career record was 214-178-14. Kuklinski, a Mosinee native, played high school hockey, football, baseball, and track and graduated in 1969. He was a left winger on Bob Johnson's Wisconsin Badgers in 1972-73. He was a member of the 1973 team that won 29 games and an NCAA Championship (the first for the Badgers). His first coaching position was as an assistant at Stevens Point Area Senior High in 1973-74. He coached in his home town for three years before taking the North High job in 1977. His teams had a winning record in 11 of his 19 full seasons. He won Sectional Championships in 1991, 1993, and 1995. His 1995 club advanced to the State Semifinals, the only North team to do so. His 1980-81 and 1983-84 teams are the only Huskies' teams to go undefeated in conference play. The 18 wins registered by his 1994-95 team are the most in school history. Kuklinski is currently the principal at Hayward High School.

Tom and his wife, Donna, had two children, Eric and Julie. Eric played for his dad from 1993-97.
